Notes: We're starting off the new year with an assortment of our new Ligne Bretagne "A" series pipes. Folks at Pipe & Pint have already had a look at what we're doing with this line, since the first set of A's shipped over there in December, but these are our first set for the website. For anyone who's missed the news updates regarding these pipes, the LB "A" series is a new run of Ligne Bretagnes designed and cut here in our shop to my specs. They're done in limited runs of specific shapes, and their chief difference from the standard Ligne Bretagnes is that we can do larger, thicker-walled pipes than the standard LB shapes, allowing heavier sandblasting. Aside from more hand work, the stems also utilize a delrin tenon for strength and superior fit, as with Talbert Briars. I'm really fond of the proportions of this pipe, even though it is shorter in length than A1-7 - It just seems to have a good, straightforward English feel to it, for some reason.
