This one was originally drilled to be one of the Israeli Pipe Club's
2008 Talbert Briar "Pipe of the Year" pieces, but once it was shaped
and I had a good look at it, I just didn't think it had good enough
grain to match the restof the pipes in that set, so it was put aside
for rustication and finishing as a Ligne Bretagne Collector. It
has a beautiful rustication pattern with burnished highlights. I
fitted a shorter stem to this one, making for a very compact &
"fat" pipe indeed, but don't be fooled by the compact dimensions
because it actually has a very large bowl for a pipe of this
