Name: The Suscinio

Notes:  This piece came out very regal and fancy in appearance, and somehow it just reminded me of the Breton Chateau of Suscinio, a striking "country hunting home" of the Dukes of Brittany, located not too far from here to the west.

Positives:   Grain, grain, grain.  The pictures can do most of my talking for me.  The bird's-eye display on the bottom is amazing.  It's just a nice horizontal slice of near perfect straight grain.  The stem is handcut from acrylic rod, and offers a shifting, smokey, translucent swirl of black and grey to the eye.

Negatives:   I wish every pipe I made had grain like this.
