Talbert Pipes Life in France People Michael and Beate

Beate, Michael, and friends

Michael and Beate Kukuk-Morczynski
Michael and Beate (seen above with Beate's tiny doppelganger celebrating St Patrick's Day) are German, and travel to Herbignac yearly in the summer to vacation at the local campground and see the sights here. One of these sights is the pipe shop, and Beate has acquired multiple morta pipes over the past few years, probably giving her one of the world's largest morta collections. She enjoys briar pipes as well, as can be seen in this photo from our trip to Rheinbach in August 2007.

After the show in Rheinbach, Germany - lots of pipes and beer!
When Michael and Beate visit, their friend Thomas often joins them -- this is actually an unusual photo, because he very rarely wears anything other than black!  That's a morta "Sheepdog" that Beate's holding.
