Pipe Misc
Gamera is really neat, He is full of turtle meat

This area is a collection of bits of pipe info and articles which don't fit in the workshop section. Some of this is about pipes in my own collection, plus some meerschaum bits, and also the Links section. This is all largely trivial, but I hope it will be enjoyable to read through!

    Links
My personal pick of pipe links on the internet and B&M shops.

    International Pipe Terminology
A collection of diagrams and links identifying the parts of a pipe in different languages.

    A Halloween pipe goes Hollywood
My friend Paul Tatum made this incredible short pipe film starring one of my pipes (the "Unnameable") and a tin of Haddo's Delight. If you've ever wondered what my Halloween pipes do when left alone, this is must-see viewing. Be warned that the file is nearly 4 megs in size so it will take a while to download for those unlucky enough to be on dial-up connections.

Pipes in my Collection Updated May 14th, 2004
Pipemakers are often asked about what pipes we collect, and what is in our racks. I often wonder why, as most pipemakers do not profit enough to afford really spectacular collections! However, FWIW, I have begun to post some pics of pipes from my own collection here, each with its personal story.

My first attempt at carving a meerschaum Updated January 2nd, 2005
I've had a large chunk of meerschaum here for a while and finally managed to set aside a little time to make my first pipe from it. It's pretty basic, but it's also a little unusual in being a sandblasted meer.

    A Meerschaum's Life Updated January 2nd, 2005
This is a little fun experiment. On this page I will post regular picture "check-ups" of an IMP meerschaum that I have begun to smoke, so that its color changing (or lack thereof) can be followed over the months and years.
